Step right up, it’s your chance to shine. We’re looking for energetic people who would love to help out at a convention. If you’ve ever thought of running your own con, volunteering is the best way to see one from the inside. Anyone who comes on as volunteer staff and does their part will see a full refund for their con badge, or credit towards the next year.

There’s just a few guidelines you should keep in mind:

  • You have to be prepared to work! This is the most important thing in making sure this convention runs smoothly.
  • Anime/Comic/Gaming fans are appreciated, but if you just want to help out with one specific thing, ask!
  • High school students are welcome, and if you need volunteer hours we can fulfill them for you. (Under the discretion of your school.)
  • Sorry, if you’re under 16 you’ll just have to wait until next year.
  • Volunteers will have to follow the guidelines set out by senior staff, just to make sure everything runs smooth.
  • It will be fun, we promise.

Security and First Aid

We’re also going to need a lot of security, and people to monitor our first aid table. We want people with serious attitudes and experience. These are important jobs, and will be monitored by other staff to make sure they’re being done properly. Again, passes will be refunded at the end of the weekend.

  • Experience in either of these two would be great. Be prepared to answer questions about why you would be right for the job.
  • Security and first aid applicants will be signing a secondary contract as regards their additional responsibilities.
  • We do not tolerate violence, bigotry, or elitism. If you’re thinking of joining crew because you think you’ll get to boss people around, this isn’t the crew for you.

More information about these two coming soon, as well as who you’ll be in contact with to secure the job.
