I second Romeo x Juliet :D  It was intro'ed to me least year by guys so that would be my proof that it's gender friendly, and awesome.

I'd like to recommend Fairy Tail to be considered once it's released in Oct just based on the manga.  It looks to be promising and similar to, but not quite so mainstream as One Piece.

I'd love to see Fairy Tail at the con.  It's like a cross between Slayers and One Piece, and all the chracters are extremely likable.  It's relatively family friendly, and appeals to a broad audience.

I wouldn't mind taking a blast int othe past and watching some good ol' Digimon or Sailor Moon (so anime is showing at this con? Sweet!)

A lot of series I plan to check out soon are Overman King Gainer, Honey & Clover, Slayers, Linebarrels of Iron, and Darker Than BLACK. =]

Unfortunately it is next to impossible to get permission to show Sailor Moon because North America (Pioneer, DiC and I think Geneon?) have lost all licences to it as of 2004.

I just thought of this, but...

If anybody has it, Perhaps we can also watch some of the older episodes of Reboot?

I know its not anime, but It IS something a whole collection of us had grown up on.

Heck, even the final two chapters, Daemon Rising, and My Two Bobs would be epic to watch!

It would be...if anyone still had the rights to distribute it.
Universal's rights came up in October 2009 and they did NOTHING to release there series on new DVDs when they did have them. Believe me I would have loved to have ReBoot. :(
