Volunteers Needed – A Call to Arms (and legs)

Saturday, April 23rd, 2011

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, geeks of all ages! ConBravo! 2011 is coming soon to a Holiday Inn near you (or at least in Burlington), and we need your help! A little show like ours takes some mighty big hearts to keep chuggin’ along, and we rely on our friends and fans to make sure it all goes off without a hitch.

Right now, we’re looking for volunteers in all departments! Our senior staff will guide you through any difficulties you may have and prepare you for the day of reckoning. If you’re interested in helping us out, please check out our registration form.

Please note, volunteers must be pre-registered attendees! Upon completion of your hours, you can either have your ticket reimbursed, or credit put towards the next show. But we do need to know that you’re showing up, so please pre-register~!

Once you’ve pre-registered and sent in your volunteer application, our volunteer leader Mike Barks will send you your welcome and get you started. See you all at the show!

Sunday was December Toronto Anime Convention 2009, a one-day event hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre by HobbyStar. A ton of Toronto locals came out for the event, to shop, to socialise, and to make merry. ConBravo! sent delegates out to the floor to spread the word about our con and Con-G, and to say hello. Hopefully you saw us!

We here at ConBravo! want to thank the Con-G showrunners, The Savage Bandito, and everyone else who helped spread the word for both conventions.
