Ladies and gentlemen, Power Rangers of all ages, ConBravo! is proud to present Robert Axelrod, who some of you may better know as Lord Zedd! That’s right, the voice of Lord Zedd from Power Rangers is coming to ConBravo! this July.

His roles include Finster, also from Power Rangers, Armadillamon and Wizardmon from Digimon, Rico on Robotech, and countless other anime roles. For a full who’s who on Robert, head over to our guest page and check him out!

Guest Announcement: The Moonroses

We’re happy to announce that the Moonroses, an intrepid duo of cosplayers from Quebec, will be making a special appearance at ConBravo!. The Moonroses will be our special cosplay judges for the Masquerade, and also running several panels which deal with costuming, prop construction, and more. You can see some of their creations and get in contact with them through their website.

We’re proud to announce that Svetlana Chmakova, artist and writer of the famous Canadian manga series Dramacon, is coming to ConBravo!

Svetlana has been a tireless presence in the Western comics scene over the last few years, as a contributor to Flight, creator of Dramacon, and now the authorial hand behind the acclaimed new series Night School.

Fans of hers can keep up with her activities via her website, Svetlania. ConBravo! is happy to welcome her onboard!

Sunday was December Toronto Anime Convention 2009, a one-day event hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre by HobbyStar. A ton of Toronto locals came out for the event, to shop, to socialise, and to make merry. ConBravo! sent delegates out to the floor to spread the word about our con and Con-G, and to say hello. Hopefully you saw us!

We here at ConBravo! want to thank the Con-G showrunners, The Savage Bandito, and everyone else who helped spread the word for both conventions.

Youmacon Presents: Live Action Mario Party!

Straight from Youmacon in Michigan, USA, Live Action Mario Party is coming to ConBravo!

Four teams will compete in a race to the finish, playing a wide variety of hilarious mini-games against each other for the top prize. Audience participation is a must, so everyone can get in on the action. Come out and play Live Action Mario Party on Saturday afternoon!

Then, after the Saturday night dance, we’re going to have a second round of LAMP, only this time it’s 18+, with all the dirty jokes you want. For those of you of age, be sure to come out and participate in the hijinks!
