Hey ladies and gents,
Let me tell you a story. This story is about the constant change to our message boards. First there was the great data dump of 2010, then the spam fiasco of 2011, and now? Now we’re going to just change things up completely. Originally we used phpBB, then SMF as our forum systems. It meant we always had to keep accounts separate, and for some reason, it never occurred to anyone that WordPress (which our site is built upon) might have some kind of plugin.
Lo and behold, we discovered SimplePress. SimplePress has made including a forum so, so easy, that we heartily recommend it to everyone out there that runs a WordPress site. It’s pretty much hassle-free, straightforward, and a dream to use. Fast too!
With that said, we’d like you all to come on back and register with us over at the forum. Not only does it grant you forum access, but allows you to comment anywhere on this site via one account.

Maybe I’m having a case of the stupids, but I can’t see where to actually register for the forums. I can see a login option, and I can see how to retrieve a lost password, but I can’t see where to register in the first place.
Derp derp, help please. It is a matter of utmost urgency that I discuss the weather in your forum!
Actually because you have this account, you should be able to post in the forums regularly. :)
Err, strike what I said above. As it turns out, the plugin came installed with registrations off, so I’ve fixed that now. You should be able to click on “forums” and register there. :)
And that was the actual purpose of my comment. ^_~
