Ladies and gentlemen, girls and boys of all ages, we are proud to present ConBravo!’s very own Pokémon DS League.
The league works like this: At ConBravo! there are 9 gym leaders, all of whom are themselves Pokémon masters. In your quest to catch ‘em all and prove yourself, these 9 stand in your way. At any time you see them around the convention, challenge them!
To begin, please go to the Registration Area and apply where it is marked “Pokémon DS League Entrants”. Once you do, the League Registrar will add you to our list of trainers who can challenge gym leaders at will and give you a special stamp. This event is free and open to fans of all ages! Once you’ve registered, you can then start looking for Gym Leaders.
Gym Leaders can be identified by their badges which are pinned to a sash around their waist or shoulders. When you approach a Gym Leader, please act with courtesy towards their situation as they are also convention volunteers and staff members. If they are helping someone else or in the midst of a battle, request to battle them once they are done and they will happily comply.
If you win, you’ll be awarded their gym badge. The Gym Leader will then sign off on your badge ledger as having been defeated. Whoever defeats them all and gets all nine badges will be awarded our Pokémon champion, and be entitled to a grand prize!
This year, we’re using White & Black for our competition. Bring your own teams and let’s fight it out!
Oh, and one more thing… Team Rocket is somewhere around and may interrupt your match if they think you’ve got something valuable that they want. Defeat them for bonus points!
